  Hello Exchangers,
  
  The purpose of this list is to share learnings about what does and
  doesn’t work in the digital democracy space - and today we at
  mySociety are putting out a pair of warts-and-all detailed looks at
  two of our core websites.
  
  We commissioned an academic researcher, Tobias Escher, to compile
  evaluation reports on two of our major sites, TheyWorkForYou.com and
  WriteToThem.com, looking in detail at user numbers, socio-economic
  breakdown, political involvement and many other factors. He also
  looked in depth at where our traffic comes from and what causes its
  fluctuations.
  
  Some of the news is good, some certainly isn’t. But it’s all there,
  and I hope those of you who care about this field will find them of
  some use.
